Love competition? Curious about what intramural sports have to offer? Bama Houston has the perfect chance for you to get involved! Our intramural sports provide all members with the opportunity to meet other Bama fans, get active once a week, and stay connected with the chapter all while having fun!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We partner with Houston Sports and Social Club to provide teams about 4 times per year with 1 league per season. We work hard to ensure that everyone who wants to play has the opportunity, often fielding two teams per season to ensure enough open spots. Intramurals are open to all interested Bama Houston members and paid members receive discounts on league entry fees.
WHAT SPORTS DO WE PLAY?
Past leagues have included kickball, volleyball, bowling, and flag football. We are always open to suggestions, and each season typically takes a poll to see what sport most of the participants would prefer.

how do i get involved?
Before each season, information for sign-up will go out in our chapter newsletter. You can sign-up for our newsletter here. Fill out the interest form by the due date, and our season intramural coordinator will contact you with sign-up information!
Speaking of coordinators, we are always looking for volunteers to help us coordinate intramural seasons! Responsibilities include:
- Weekly game announcements
- Communications with Bama Houston communications team for social media/newsletters
- Coordinating payment and registration with HSSC
